Last Saturday we tried something completely new in our CK13. A workshop for poi and juggeling.
My German colleague Nina, who is currently working in the visitor centre of Lake Ludaš (Ludaško Jezero) led a Children's circus for many years at home, so we both hit on the idea to make a small workshop in the Black House (Crna Kuća).
Pois are very popular in Germany in the moment, and as we found out also in Serbia.
Novi Sad's poi-school called "Alternacija" was immediately fond of our idea.
So on the fith of December the club was full of motivated people, who wanted to do something fun on their Saturday afternoon. Everybody brought their equipent and their knowledge to share with the others. Also complete beginners were welcome and respected.
You could learn mayn different figures with poi, like the "butterfly" or the "pot", juggeling with two, three or four balls or clubs using a devilstick and get to know cool people.
We will have this Poi- and juggeling every month from now on, so:
